Arpino Joffrey Foundation
The Arpino Joffrey Foundation “holds the sole rights to the choreographic works of Gerald Arpino and Robert Joffrey, and is committed to maintaining their legacy by licensing their works, educating dancers and students, and encouraging the talents of young choreographers.”
The website serves as an online archive of the details about the choreographic works and is the initial point of reference for dance companies interested in performing one of the ballets. The site also introduces the other services offered by the foundation and promotes performances from around the country.
After working with the foundation to organize the site content, I created a user interface that features a visual framework that allows for compact yet readable groupings of complex information, and provides a site-wide visual harmony. Small details, like an expandable promotional area, subtle backgrounds using historic photographs, and an animated ballet filter add richness.
